Las Vegas

Staying  at Sam's Town RV Park as you can't park your motorhome in any Casino Lot.  At least they have a shuttle to town.  Went to town, got my ticket for CHER great deal discount on Orchestra seating the same price as I would have paid for mezz. seating.  Well Wow! what a show she was so close I could have almost touched her.  Finally got to see her and was not disappointed great show.  Off to see Willie Nelson in Laughlin tomorrow, then will visit friends in Golden Valley.

Nevada

Finally in Nevada stopped at Jack Pot just over the Idaho Border.  Heading for Las Vegas to see the Cher show and my friend will continue on to Arizona.

Idaho

Well I wanted to try this route but never again, I will stick to the I-5!  Steady climbing, boring route and either got bad gas or tank so low Motor Home running rough and now the engine light is on.  Topped it up and added a cleaner at Chevron and will keep it topped up at half way point.  All ok now.

Washington Sept 18/10

Off to a bad start.  Had motor home in for an oil change, check tires and replace batteries.  They could not replace batteries because all battery cables had to be replaced . No one available however my travelling friend had a friend who owned a transmission shop and 580.00 later cables and batteries replaced. Wow! ouch!  Oh well at least the electric step now works and does not need a new controller as our Lake Tyee RV repairman stated.  Hmmm!  We are going to go through Idaho as I have never been that way.  Later
